I use this product for screening drain holes in my plant pots. So not using it for drywall. But it works great for my houseplants and outdoor plant pots. I cut pieces and stick them over the drain holes in my pots (on the inside), then fill the pots with potting mix and the plants. Keeps most of the soil from leaking out as I water. The sticky side helps to keep the pieces in place. Highly recommend for this purpose.

Yes I would agree with some ppl saying it isn’t “sticky” enough to hold in place but really depending on what you do with it. I used this for re-enforcing my RC body with Shoe Go. As long as you take your time go easy you don’t even need to clue it in place.

Builder used paper joint tape in some areas on the garage ceiling and it started peeling back due to age of my house and heat/humidity cycle through the years. I peeled off the old tape, cleaned the surface with a paper towel to rid dust, and attached the nylon mesh tape and spot DryDex (spackling) to see if it works in conjunction. It's gone through 10+ heat cycles where the ceiling reaches 100F and no cracking or peel back.

I was struggling using paper drywall tape and was having issues with bubbling. This tape made it much easier to get the job done. Super messy though.

Works great, was able to replace a 6 foot hole with taping the old pieces and mudding over them. Highly recommend.
